Shakespeare Community Club
Next Meeting - May 21st at 6 PM
v A club for families (minimum age – 7) where parents and kids alike can come together to explore the world of Shakespeare! v Meetings will include the following: o Discussion o Acting opportunities o Reader’s Theatre selections o Various other activities concerning Shakespeare and his plays v Families will be responsible for reading the assigned play (or age appropriate retelling) ON THEIR OWN before the meeting v A variety of educational worksheets and activities will be provided on the library’s website for families to use as a supplement to their reading v Families can purchase various age-appropriate versions of the plays via an order form (prices will reflect library’s cost only) v Role playing, recitation, and acting assignments will be provided for students
